Brett Blizzard
Brett began his real estate career in 2019 after a sixteen-year career playing professional basketball in Europe.
In just a few years, Brett sold over 80 homesites and a dozen spec homes totaling over $20 Million in sales volume. Home builders and home owners alike have forged a trusted relationship with Brett.
Brett has also shown tremendous sales success on the water. He’s closed 16 boat slips in Salters Haven at Lea Marina.
Brett is a native of Tallahassee, FL, and is widely regarded as the greatest player in UNCW history. During his basketball career from 1999-2003 he started all 125 games scoring more than 2,000 points on the way to becoming the school’s all-time leading scorer, as well as an all-time leader in many other statistical categories.
Brett is the only player in Colonial Athletic Association history to earn First-Team All-CAA and All-CAA Tournament honors four years straight. He was named CAA Player of the Year in 2002 and 2003 and CAA Tournament MVP in 2000, ‘02, and ‘03 while leading the Seahawks to their first CAA Championship in 2000 and the NCAA Tournament in ’02 and ’03. In addition to an NIT bid in ’01, Blizzard led UNCW to the postseason in each of his four years. In 2020, Blizzard was inducted in the UNCW Athletic Hall of Fame.
Brett made his way back to the coast after his stint in Europe. He and his wife Megan, a Wilmington native, proudly reside in the Wilmington area with their four kids.
