A native North Carolinian and avid beach lover, Amy Zabriskie truly appreciates all that Wilmington has to offer. After graduating from East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Amy settled in Raleigh. Embarking on a career in Property Management, she learned the nuances of leasing, corporate housing and most importantly customer service.
While working in Raleigh, Amy met her husband, John. In 2000 their son Zach was born. As a stay-at-home mom, Amy realized her passion for interior design and decorating. Being married to a builder provided lots of opportunity to showcase her skills. Through several moves and numerous speculative homes, Amy incorporated her flair and talent to create warm and inviting spaces. She has assisted in decorating everything from neighborhood clubhouses to beach homes.
Combing her passion for design with her background in property management, Amy took her career to the next level and became a realtor. It is this combination that gives Amy’s clients a significant edge. When selling a home, Amy can provide staging advice to ensure a quick sale. Or when purchasing, her inspiration and eye for detail will ensure the space exceeds expectations. Through her management techniques, skillful negotiations and design concierge service, Amy will make the process of buying or selling a home enjoyable and seamless.
Amy is a true professional who is an absolute pleasure to work with. She was a great assistance in our purchase of our home at 213 Inlet Point Drive and the lot at 217 Inlet Point Drive. Amy did all the right things to make a property buying experience pleasant. We began our search several months before the final purchase. Even though we freely admitted to Amy that we were just looking for a future retirement home, she dedicated her time and effort to assist us as if we’re going to write a contract immediately. Since we were both working at the time, we were only available for our home search on the weekends and Amy cheerfully accommodated our availability whenever we asked. In addition, we found her advice and counsel extremely useful in every respect. We greatly appreciate Amy’s professionalism and positive attitude. She is an invaluable asset to the Intracoastal Realty Corporation. More importantly, she has become a friend we will always cherish.
I live in the Chapel Hill area, and when it was time to sell my property in Wilmington, I contacted Amy to sell the condo. Because of her excellent communication and service skills, I sold my property without once having to make the drive to Wilmington. Not only did she sale my unit within about a week, but she completely and expertly provided the oversight needed to get minor repairs done, cleaning services, and maintenance to the unit prior to putting the property on the market. Amy and her team surpassed my expectations in every level of the sale of the unit. I would use Intracoastal Realty without any hesitation!!
