Kara was born and raised in Wilmington, NC. She has a deep appreciation for the coastal charm, quaint historic downtown and the relaxed lifestyle that makes this area such a special place to call ‘home.’ Growing up, she spent countless days on the beach and out on the Intracoastal Waterway with her family, creating lifelong memories through boating adventures and camping trips to Masonboro Island. A true local at heart, Kara has welcomed every birthday for over a decade with a peaceful sunrise on the beach — a tradition that reflects her gratitude for the life that Wilmington has to offer. Her love for Wilmington’s lifestyle continues to shape both her personal life and her approach to real estate.
Before transitioning to real estate, she built a career in dentistry, where she developed a strong passion for helping others through trust, care and attention to detail. That background shaped her client-first approach and commitment to making every experience as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Kara married her husband, Jason, in Downtown Wilmington in 2009. She is now a proud mother of four, two boys and two girls. She spends her free time cheering from the sidelines at soccer matches and high school football games.
